 BRIDGE - Considered by many as “The World’s greatest CARD Game”
 

The Hamilton Bridge Club is planning to run bridge lessons in 2026 suitable for both those who wish to learn to play Bridge from scratch or for previous bridge players returning and wanting a refresher.

No experience necessary – we are starting from the very beginning !

However, experience in playing other card games such as 500 does help

The course will run for 15 weeks in separate sessions on Tuesday Evening and Thursday Morning for approximately 2hrs. Cost is $80 for the 15 weeks which includes Club membership to the end of the 2026 "Bridge year". No need to bring anything, all course material is provided.

Bridge is a fabulous game but not something that can be taught in 5 minutes and does require a commitment to complete a good portion of the course to get the maximum benefit. Over the 15 weeks we will teach you the basics of the game following the New Zealand bridge course, at the end of which you will have enough tools to get you started on your bridge journey. A journey that, for many, lasts for life. Yes, it is that addictive !

After the lessons we will run sessions of social supervised play so you can practice all you have learned in a very relaxed environment.
