Lindsay
The Hamilton Bridge Club acknowledges the passing of our Long Time Member Lindsay Reid and extends sympathy to Lindsay's family and friends

Lindsay, one of our oldest members and a real gentleman, sadly passed away on Thursday.
Lindsay learnt to play bridge in 1951 in Te Aroha, becoming a foundation member of the Te Aroha Club in 1953. Work took Lindsay to Auckland in 1961 and then New Plymouth where he was Club President 1973-74 before moving to Hamilton in 1974 where he has been a member ever since.
Lindsay was the real club man. When not playing in a tournament he was always there in support of other club members – a keen kibitzer. In the years when the National Congress was held in Hamilton he was a regular there supporting our club players.
