JUDGE'S DECISION HAS ARRIVED ON "SPIRIT OF HAMILTON' WEBSITE BANNER COMPETITION!!!

Our esteemed Head Judge, Wilhelmina Ryder from Impact Photographics Ltd in Tokoroa together with two other Judges, all having judging experience in photo competitions, have pored over the entries to the competition. The judging was done on the subject: "The Spirit of Hamilton" not necessarily photo quality. The 3 Judges were unanimous in their decision. Many thanks to our 3 Judges for giving their time and consideration.

Well done to all our members who entered the competition. It is hoped that all entries suitable in sizing will be used in the scrolling banner for Hamilton in the near future.

The Judges' decision (which is final, no correspondence will be entered into!) is below:

Judges'comments on the third prize entry:
A waka on the Waikato river, A good clear shot.

The Judges commended all the entries on selecting icons from the City of Hamilton. They also acknowledged that the weather over the period the competition ran was for the most part poor which did hamper some entries as grey skies and grey days do not make for the best photographic conditions.

Hope you enjoy viewing your new revolving banner soon!
