A tale of two carpets
Hamilton Bridge Club - October 6 to 9th 2024
Thank you Richard for a job done well !
Due to a large amount of work by Richard Wagstaff the Bridge Club now has new carpet in both playing rooms.
Thanks to the ladies - Helen Rinaldi, Laura Sommerville, Cathy Nolen and Karen Harris who advised Richard and kept him on the "straight and narrow" on the most important requirements for the carpet - the type/style and then the colour and design for the new carpet.
Thanks to everyone including those unmentioned helpers who removed the old carpet for their hard work !!
As for the carpet - approx. 350sq/m in size and 47 years young being installed in 1978. The carpet has NOT been dumped - the best of it has been reused as carpet with the rest to be used around a property to allow a shelter belt to grow from scratch. Unfortunately the underlay didn't have a new use and will needed to be dumped

Most of the furniture is removed but there is not enough spare
space in the building with the bar, the office, the corridor all filled
