2019 AGM Date Change

The date of this years AGM has been brought forward to Sunday 17th November

This change in the date has been made as our President is part of the Waikato Bays Team for the Inter-provincials held this year in Christchurch on the old AGM date

The format of the day will not change with the AGM at 2pm followed by a session of "fun" bridge before Christmas Dinner concluding the evening - more details to follow shortly

Jewel Cresswell

The Club sadly notes the passing of our very long time member Jewel Cresswell

Jewel, a Life Member at the Club since 2002, passed away earlier in the week

We extend our sympathy to her son Bruce and Jewel's family and friends

Update your mobile phone number for 2020

Cell Phone numbers please !
The 2020 programme book is now being prepared. This year we would like to add as many mobile phone numbers as possible to the book - it makes the task a little less difficult for our partner stewards as they can text groups when looking for a partner for you......
A list of all members’ details is on a table in the main club-room. Please take the time to check your phone number and confirm it is correct and add or change the details, or if you are not playing bridge at the moment let the bridge club secretary know of any change needed.

TWITs 2020

FOR ALL Twits PLAYERS - current and future

We noticed there weren't as many teams taking part in the Waikato Interclub Teams (TWITs) this year and some feedback provided was that Friday evening was not great timing for some, for various reasons ie finished too late for a Friday night (end of week) or interfered with Saturday tournament participation etc. Can you please let us know whether you and/or your friends or team-mates would prefer to play next year if TWITS was to be held in Hamilton on:

1) Friday evening 7-10 pm

2) Sunday afternoon 2-5 pm

3) Sunday afternoon 1-4 pm

4) Doesn't matter, happy with any of these options

Directors will be asking for feedback the week after next. Please don’t vote on more than one night.

Ella
